Our Programs

Moving Forward Daycare programs are designed to meet the individual child’s basic developmental needs: social, physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and self-concept, while responding to the needs of families. The child’s world is expanded mainly through appropriate staff-peer interactions and by staff picking up on children’s cues.

Infant

(6 weeks – 18 months)

Toddler

(18 months – 3 years)

Preschool and Pre K

About Us

Moving Forward Daycare was established in February 2010 with Ms. Claudia’s grandson and niece. From word of mouth, 2 more children enrolled and it began to flourish from there. Moving Forward teaches children academically, socially and physically. Ms. Claudia believes in incorporating fun with learning, as well as teaching respect to each other, other people’s property and always showing love. The bond between Ms. Claudia and the children exceeds their time at Moving Forward. She continues her relationship with parents who move away and children who age out. Many continue to invite her to their Moving Up Ceremonies and Grade School Graduations. Ms. Claudia is thankful to see the seeds of love and respect she has sown to all who come to Moving Forward Daycare.

I am I mother of 3 boys. My children have been with Moving Forward Daycare for 5 years. There is no way to put into words how extremely grateful I am for the time my children have spent with this child care facility. My children learned many developmental/social skills. Ms. Williams has a special way of understanding and dealing with each child, to help promote their growth in and outside of the classroom. My children and I love Ms. Williams and Moving Forward Daycare. They have definitely been a blessing to me and my family.

I enrolled my daughter in Moving Forward Daycare when she was 15 months old. As a first time mom I was nervous, but Mrs.Claudia was very pleasant and reassuring that my baby was in good hands. She also answered all my concerns and questions (and I had a lot). As my daughter continue to go to daycare she has grown attached to Mrs.Claudia and became eager to go every morning. Now she is 3 years old and knows how to write her name, knows the name of the states all her colors, Alphabet, numbers and a few sight words. She has improved her vocabulary tremendously. I would highly recommend Moving Forward Daycare.
